For ten years of its existence, Saint Petersburg Hotel Forum has become one of the main areas of the North-West region of Russia, where heads of state authorities, hotel and travel business professionals, experts and representatives of the academic community discuss preliminary results of the year in the hospitality industry and prospects for further development of the industry.
Hotel Forum is included in the INWETEX-CIS Travel Market Travel Trade Fair business program: it allows professionals from all over Russia and the countries of the Baltic-Nordic region to meet in one place and share ideas and opinions with each other. One of the permanent subjects of the plenary sessions is the accommodation facilities classifications and measures of government support of the hotel business.
Free discussions and roundtables at the Forum represent a wonderful opportunity to have a brainstorming session with colleagues and to understand how to solve certain problems in the industry. There is a wide range of topics, important for hoteliers: from professional trainings to measures for raising occupancy rate during low season. Forum organisers tend to hold a discussion from a number of angles. Not only hospitality industry professionals take part in discussions, but also representatives of travel agencies, museums, IT-companies and all organisations with interests, similar to the needs of the hotel industry. A “fresh look” often helps to find a nontrivial solution.
Saint Petersburg Hotel Forum is the place where everyone, not only the speakers, can express their opinion. It is the place where tough questions are raised and joint efforts are made to find answers in an environment of an intensive and vivid professional communication.
